To All Officials, We had a Successful “Return to Normal” Camp. We had close to 50 of our own Abilene Basketball Chapter officials participate and other officials from all over the state, El Paso, Austin, San Antonio, DFW, Wichita Falls to name a few. I want to Thank each and every one of the officials that put in the work. It means a lot to me. We covered a ton of games. We got everyone a taste of 3 man. Every time, I put out a call needing officials to cover a last minute change, I got several volunteers. The Evaluators were top notch. The Best I have ever had evaluate me. I learned something each game. I am excited to get a chance to work on the things they taught me. I would like to take this time to Also Thank a few others. Caleb did a great job coordinating and putting together a top notch camp, and he steered the ship from the beginning to the end. Great Job! Members of your Board that were there, All went above and beyond and deserve 5 Gold Stars!! They worked their tails off. Cory James, Shay Favors, Moses Shelby, Laura Pack, Thomas Aly, Gerald Wilkerson and Caleb Smith (in no particular order)all deserve a standing ovation. From the chapter and myself, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Members, next time you see them, give them a pat on the back and an atta boy or atta girl. This is just part of the reason, I wanted to be back as the Assignor again of the Best Chapter in the State. I want to Thank all the campers, You worked hard, and I got all good feedback from the Evaluators, The only person with a bad attitude was not from our chapter, THANK YOU. And last but not least, the ones that pitched in and worked the non camp games. I know you probably worked too many in a row, At least one gym had no air conditioner.
