Again, I want to remind you to point any new officials you are recruiting to https://register.abilenebasketballrefs.com and let them know about our Rookie Trainings on October 6th and 13th at 5:30pm at Wylie Junior High.

I also wanted to tell you that one of our officials, Ryan Holmes, was kind of enough to pre-record a segment on his radio show to help recruit new officials. You can have those interested in officiating tune into 106.9 FM around 8am. Ryan officiated last year, so he’s recently been to the trainings and knows what it’s like to be new to the chapter. In the segment, we will talk about some of the benefits of joining the chapter, what the rookie trainings are like and some of his experiences officiating last year. Feel free to tune in.
